European media attention for our report on PFAS in food contact materials
On 20th of May Tegengif-Erase all Toxins published the report Throwaway Packaging Forever Chemicals in the Netherlands. The report and ensuing campaign were a collaborative effort of 8 European NGOs led by the Czech organisation Arnika and the Health and Environment Alliance.
The report received abundant media attention. In the Netherlands major national newspapers such as Trouw, Volkskrant, Algemeen Dagblad, Telegraaf, Financiële Dagblad en Reformatorisch Dagblad wrote about our report. Following the publication of our report Dutch MPs raised the issue in parliament. Outside the Netherlands prominent media such as Le Monde, Le Figaro, El Mundo, Chemical Watch and Euractiv reported about our study.
